Pre-Construction Ground Clearing
With the Gyro-Trac, home site clearing can be quick and uncomplicated. Not only can the Gyro clear the construction area it can clear brush around the site with the chips being laid back down on the ground. You'll end up with a clean, uncluttered look to your property. Once a lot is cleared the value of the land is likely to increase.

Do brush or trees obscure your view? The Gyro can selectively eliminate the problem areas without damaging the remaining trees. There are no stumps left they are chipped down to ground level. Trees, limbs, and brush are chipped. The chips are left on the ground and are eventually re-absorbed back into the soil. There is no burning or chipping. The Gyro-Trac doesn't leave your ground rutted and there is no root disruption or ground compaction around the trees that remain.
Post Logging Clean Up
The GT-25 can eliminate unsightly logging residue left after your property has been logged. Stumps are chipped down to ground level and the piles are chipped too. The GT-25 needs the piles to be less than 4 feet high. If yours are higher than four feet we can spread them out with a skidder or CAT.
Fire Pre-Suppression & Suppression
Thinning of hazardous forest fuels at urban interfaces. The Gyro-Trac machine can eliminate brush around structures. No need to worry about hauling away debris or bringing in a chipper. Stumps can be ground down to ground level and brush is chipped as the area is cleared. This chipped material helps eliminate erosion and is reabsorbed back into the soil. There is no burning, and in most cases you don't even need a permit. We can also cut firebreaks and access lanes for pre-suppression projects.
In the event there is a fire, the Gyro-Trac can quickly cut fire trails. The Gyro-Trac can also do post fire or storm clean up. Due to the track system the Gyro-Trac can reach damaged areas quickly and chip trees and brush faster. There are no ruts left on the land, no increase in mud from heavy dozers, and no need to have large piles of debris to contend with after "clean up". Gyro-trac eliminates the need for chipping and burning.

Wetland Management & Utility Work
Due to the low ground compaction of 3.5 psi the Gyro-Trac has been used to in the eastern United States to clear brush on canals and waterway banks. The Gyro-Trac can traverse swampy wetlands - often going where humans are not able to walk without sinking into the marshland.
Gyro-Trac is able to work on a variety of terrain making it ideal for right of way and utility work. The Gyro-Trac can cut or maintain survey lines, fence lines, power line, gas and oil pipelines.
